WOCAP is a local nonprofit agency is seeking qualified candidates interested in working as Primary Caregivers

Provides day-to-day care to infants or toddlers in an Early Head Start classroom. Focus on building positive relationships with children and families and using an approved developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes routines, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of children in the program.

40 hours/week 52 weeks/year

Education:  Minimum of Infant Toddler CDA. Associate degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.

Certification in First-Aid, CPR, Child Abuse & Neglect, and Communicable Disease must be maintained.  Skills:  Must be able to communicate effectively written and verbal.  Must have the ability to assist and relate to a diverse population.

Experience:  Minimum two years in infant/toddler care.

Other:  Knowledge of non-profit agencies.  Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license, current vehicle insurance, and access to a privately-owned vehicle during scheduled work hours.

Computer skills:  Including the ability to check electronic mail, enter data into program-specific software for required reports, and Internet skills are required.  Testing applicable prior to job placement for verification

Job Type: Full-Time Wage: $12.25-$16.80 an hour
