Human Resources Specialist
Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the Human Resources team to effectively execute all areas of responsibilities including employee engagement, training and development, Company travel, virtual onboarding, and other tasks as deemed necessary. This individual must effectively collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Creating employee engagement plans and initiating Company activities
- Identify and assess training and development needs
- Develop, organize, conduct, and evaluate training programs
- Conduct internal employee surveys
- Coordinate and book business travel (flights, rental cars, transportation services)
- Assist with writing and posting company announcements
- Creating virtual onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
- Serve as back-up for payroll processing
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Human Resources; other Business majors accepted
- Knowledge of SAP software is a plus
- Experience in training and development preferred
- Experience in employee engagement preferred
General Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete and professional manner
- Ability to effectively work with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Willing to work overtime
